The Discovery Center is just west of
the Chenoweth Area of The Dalles on Crate's
Point. The Center houses the Wasco
County Historical Museum as well as many exhibits on the Columbia
River Gorge.
This model of the Columbia River can
show the changes created by the dams built in the Mid-Columbia
region.
